Sell Your Listing Faster with This Cheap, Everyday Gadget
While it’s true that most people begin their home search online, there are still plenty of people who like to drive around neighborhoods and see what’s for sale.
If that wasn’t the case, then why does every home listed for sale have a sign in front of it?
You see my point.
Signs are probably not the highest converting marketing tool when it comes to exposing your listing, but considering their cheap price and simple “stick it and forget it” nature, they are definitely worth it.
There’s only one problem with “for sale” signs.
Actually, it’s not really the sign, but the environment around them.
Let me explain.
Most people work until 5, 6, and 7pm.
By the time they get a chance to drive and look around after work, there’s a good chance that it’s dark (depending on how far North / South you are and what time of year it is – but you get the idea).
That means that your sign will mostly only be seen on Saturdays and Sundays.

And leaving all the hope that they see your sign until the weekend SIGNIFICANTLY reduces your chances because, well, life happens and things can come up that prevent a weekend glimpse.
Or even worse, they could have already found another house they like because the sign wasn’t visible at the right time.
So what can you do to cheat the system?
MAKE IT VISIBLE AT NIGHT!
Here’s what you do:
1. Get a cheap outdoor spot light – like this one in the picture.
I highly recommend that you get a solar powered one so that you don’t have to worry about power cords or batteries. They also have a light sensor so it only comes on when it’s dark.
2. Stick it under your “for sale” sign that you have in front of your listing. Make sure you aim it up so that it lights up all of the sign with your contact info on it.
3. Repeat the first two steps for all of your listings and get ready for more calls!
Even just one sale in your career will more than pay for a lifetime supply of these lights.
Plus you’ll get a ton of more exposure and be seen by more eyes.
More recognition means more leads, listings, referrals, etc.
It’s worth a shot.
Hope you have a lot of luck with this little trick.
